No worries, we've got you covered:
Materials & sourcing
We only use the best quality and long-lasting cashmere from goats that live in mountainous areas in the chinese region inner mongolia and produce locally in Hebei, china.
Our cashmere garments are knitted in 7 gauge (7GG), means that 7 gauge has 7 stitches or rows of yarn per inch of the knitted cashmere, so the cashmere has an open or mesh-like look and is breathable.
We maintain a close relationship with our manufacturers there and together, we make sure that all working conditions and quality control are up to the highest standard.
What about my cashmere care?
Cashmere is a luxury fiber that comes from the soft undercoat hairs of cashmere goats.
Allow any moisturiser and deodorant you've applied to fully dry before donning your cashmere piece to minimise potential residue on the fabric.
Refrain from spraying perfume directly on your cashmere or in areas that come into contact with it, as it may result in stains.
Exercise caution with accessories that could snag your cashmere, such as pointed necklaces or buckled watches, to prevent unintended damage or holes.
Ensure there is a sufficient gap between wears of your cashmere item, allowing it to air out and the fibers to return to their natural state.
Should I handwash it?
Hand washing will make your cashmere softer over time, it's a better option than dry cleaning it. However, you do not have to wash your cashmere every time you wear it, as cashmere is a breathable fiber. You can wear it multiple times before washing is necessary.
We discourage dry cleaning or handwashing too often.
Wash in a clean sink or large bowl using lukewarm water no hotter than 20°C.
Use a small amount of cashmere shampoo ensuring it is fully dissolved in the water.
Gently squeeze the suds through the cashmere taking care not to rub too much.
Rinse the garment in cool clean water squeezing gently without wringing.
All our cashmere items are also machine washable and simple to care for.
We suggest sporadic washing in a high-quality machine on a wool program using wool or cashmere detergent and avoiding the use of softeners.
Following washing, lay the garment flat on a towel during the drying process to prevent any stretching.
Transfer to a clean dry towel and smooth the item back into shape.
Dry naturally away from direct heat such as radiators and sunlight.
